MORRISVILLE - At the offices of Southern Energy Management, there are no cubicles.
The 10,000-square-foot office is filled with desks – not walls. Executives can’t be distinguished from non-execs, at least from their work spaces.
Bob Kingery and Maria Kingery, the husband-wife founders of the company, says that treating employees as team members on par with the owners was among the goals when the company was founded in 2001. As part of that effort, full-time employees receive stock options in the company in addition to their salaries....
