
Position Available: Full-Time Building Science Project Coordinator (Morrisville)
Southern Energy Management, North Carolina’s leading provider of energy efficiency and solar power services, seeks a full-time building science project coordinator to support our fast-growing commercial building science team in Morrisville, NC. The project coordinator will manage and administer a variety of support activities for the commercial building science team including contract and document management. The project coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining Salesforce customer relationship management and project management software. A strong commitment to sustainable energy and dedication to the vision of SEM is a must.
Job Duties:
- Contract administration
- Draft standardized proposal and pricing documents
- Billing and expense management
- Document manager; managing report templates, distribution and organization
- Produce weekly Salesforce reports
- Administrative support for team and assistance with team lead’s email and communication
- Equipment management
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
- Document management and control experience
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities and personalities
- Ability to proofread documents for consistency format
- Basic computer and math skills. Proficiency with MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, communication and writing abilities; word processing and spreadsheet skills.
- Able to prioritize and accomplish tasks independently while also working within a supportive team atmosphere
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with construction management, plan reading and ability to perform area takeoffs from building plans
- Work with subject matter experts on technical subjects
- Familiar with Salesforce
